Jerry Love began drawing at the age of nine and has been showing his work since the early 1960s. He created western bronzes in the 1960s, gold & silver jewelry in the 1970s and began showing his drawings and paintings in the 1980s. He and his artist wife, Tricia, have been juried into dozens of art shows and have won numerous awards. He is past president of the New Mexico Watercolor Society, served three years as Director for Nob Hill Art Gallery and served as Exhibitions Director for the New Mexico Art League.

As a child I watched my grandfather plow his fields with a team of horses. Times were much simpler then with no electricity or running water. My art reflects my grandfather’s era when the horse was still the mainstream of development in America. I love to depict horses and people from those times.
