Oil and Acrylic Paintings

I paint in what is sometimes referred to as a “New West” and/or “Colorist" style. Most of my paintings are started onsite in Plein Air and finished in my home studio.  My goal is to enthusiastically experience and share beauty.

I am endlessly grateful to have been taught by and painted along side of some of North America’s premier landscape painters: Barbara Clark,  Gordon Harrison, John Meister, Krysteen Waszak, Lynette Fink and Peggy Trigg. Currently, the work of Tom Thomson and the Group of Seven is heavily influencing my painting.

“My truth is that I absolutely love the process of painting New Mexico."
