Call for Entries:

 

"Women's Visions and Ventures"

Original paintings, drawings and photography by women depicting women's dreams, lives, accomplishments, etc.
March 1, 2020--March 26, 2020

 

February 28, 2020 Delivery of artwork to the Gallery ABQ between 10 am - noon 

Selection of work will be made by the gallery
 

March 1 to March 26 - Exhibition Tuesday through Saturday weekly
Friday March 6, 2020 -  Opening Reception from 4 - 8pm
March 27, 2020 -  Unsold work must be picked up between 10am and 3pm


Entry Fee: $10.00 for one, $25.00 for three pieces of artwork. Fee is nonrefundable and payable on receipt. Cash or check only.
Hand delivered work should be labeled with artist name, title, medium and price.
Maximum width 36 inches including frame
All works must be for sale. The gallery will handle all sales and collect 25% commission. Prices submitted on delivery are final and not subject to change.


The Gallery ABQ reserves the right to refuse any work that does not meet the requirements, including improper framing or work deemed unsuitable for public viewing.


All sold items may be picked up at any time or when purchased, remaining artwork must stay until the show ends on March 26.
Work must be framed and meet gallery quality standards. No name or title plaques, no plastic frames, glass or plexiglass is accepted. Gallery wraps with supports at least one inch thick are acceptable. All works must be ready to hang with wires that are at least 3 inches below the top of the frame. No saw tooth hooks.


Title: maximum 25 characters


Liability: The Gallery ABQ does not carry any insurance on your work. Every precaution will be taken for the safety of your artwork(s). Artists should carry their own insurance. The Gallery ABQ and their representatives will not be responsible for theft, loss or damage of works submitted.

The Gallery ABQ in Hoffmantown is an artist-owned gallery of fine artists and craftspersons from New Mexico. With twenty member artists, we offer a wide variety of mediums, subjects and styles in a welcoming creative space. We embrace creativity and innovation, allowing each member artist to express their individual point of view while maintaining the highest standards.

 

New artists are juried in at our monthly general meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month.
