BIO

I'm a native New Mexican and have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of New Mexico. After college I lived in Europe for a few years, then returned to New Mexico and pursued a career in advertising.  

 

Since 1992 I have been a full-time artist and have also taught watercolor and composition.  My work is included in both private and corporate collections.

Sandra Baca

I became interested in beads in the mid 80’s. The beauty, historical, and cultural importance evoked such love for beads that I have been working and designing with them ever since. I feel the most beautiful aspect of any wearable art is the personal made public.

 

My necklaces and earrings sell under the label Sandra’s Beads. I use semi-precious stones, glass, amber, antique pieces, ethic pieces and antique beads in my work. I also enjoy traveling the county to find quality beads and unusual pieces.
