Artist Statement

I enjoy creative arts that touch me in positive ways. I think that’s the real work of art: to move people, so I like my creative efforts to resonate with others. Life is short. Let’s lift each other up! Most recently, my preferred mediums have been pencil and pastel, but I plan to move into mixed media, including abstract art. I'm drawn to interior scenes that suggest rest or peace, light that shines through objects, and subjects that are lovely, but fleeting. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments on my work.
